John Wicca is a zombie elemental skeleton spell-caster in Upland.

Appearance[]

John Wicca is a figure in a dark layered beige robe and belt, with a torn brown cloak and shoes. John Wicca has glowing hands, and wears a dark beige fur hood with his robe that has a gray section in the middle of it. His head is a glowing skull that can separate from his body, and he wields a gray Sun Stick.

Personality[]

Since having lost his soul, Wicca has become spooky, odd, and even sinister, striking terror into the hearts of hostiles. He has also developed a fondness of the skeletal structure. It has been said that Wicca has laughed only once after regaining his soul, at an incident involving Firearmer, Hulk Bulk, and a burning coin in the groin. He also has a tendency to act on his own, even if it means not sharing his plans with friends. Weirdly, in Upland: Clash, Wicca appears prideful in battle, as well as sounding cynical, and like other heroes in it, will rebuke and smirk at the player should they poke him.

Background[]

John Wicca was born to a rich family, and, being the middle child, all unfortunate events seemed to be heaped upon him. He eventually gave up on life, performing a demonic ritual to remove his soul from his body. He went off, soulless, and soon encountered an academy to learn black magic. He became adept in dark magic, and sought to defeat the tyrannical Nadnerb. Constructing his wand using the power of a disintegrating star, John Wicca, now strong in the dark arts of magic, traveled to hell to challenge Nardnerb, who attempted to capture him one time to learn his secrets. Though he successfully fought Nadnerb, Wicca returned from hell different – having unwillingly start gaining back his soul. After this event, Dillon trusted that Wicca would use the dark side of magic for good, and views him as a valuable hero of Upland.
