Calling All Morphers is a video game coinciding with the Morphers franchise, that was released on March 4, 2017, for the iTunes App Store and Xbox One. The game was later released on April 2, 2017, for Google Play. It costs $59.99, and Morpher Wheels are purchasable as Microtransactions (with prices ranging from $2 to $100, depending on the number of wheels). Steam and PlayStation 4 versions were also released, coinciding with updates.
Plot[]
Florence arrives late at Morph-Fest, a party in the Lava Desert, where, unknown to her, the rest of the guests were abducted by the Norphers. Florence gets her first clue after noticing a large amount of Norphers, as well as a strongbox with Sebastian locked in it. Florence later recruits other Morphers like Vincent and goes to other locations like the Gold Mine and Urban Mountain, and fights other types of Norphers such as Major Norpher and Boomerang Norphers.
After rescuing all 27 of the Morphers (though the quest was initially unlocked simply by rescuing 9), the Morphers are sent by an unknown force to go to Morpher Mountain. Once the Morphers go there, they fight off a giant wave of Norphers, and Major Norpher tries to kill all of the Morphers with an enormous pistol but is told against this by Pheno. The Morphers all do a leap of faith and land unharmed in Morpher Square, where the Norphers have given chase and are armed with missile launchers, then chase the Morphers through the square. Meanwhile, Pheno's airship is destroyed by Norphers with recoilless rifles, and Pheno leaps from his airship, before landing safely with the others via a parachute. The Norphers surround them, however, and a group grabs the Ernests, but most of the Norpher Ships unintentionally suck the other Norphers in, and the Morphers are left without enemies, ending the game.
In a post-credits scene, the Christians dig until they reach bedrock, which fractures, and then reveals a white void, which the Christian villagers run away from, mistaking it for Norpher Land. However, Robert Jacob, Trigger, Serpent, and Barnett Felix jump from the void when the Christians flee, revealing that all SmallBread Productions properties to be connected.
Gameplay[]
During standard levels, the game is essentially a standard action/adventure game with strategy, third-person shooter, and puzzle elements. Whenever in combat, players can play as any of the three Morphers in their squad; other Morphers are controlled by AI or additional players (the latter is done similarily to Left 4 Dead). Players use their base attacks (each of which has a cooldown) and weapons collected in the level to fight enemies. If their teammates can make a Morph or Merph with their Morpher Wheels rather than a Marph, they get a bonus in combat. Morpher Wheels have a 1-minute cooldown. After completing a level, points collected can be used to purchase upgrades from the in-game stores. Players can upgrade weapons throughout the game; health and special abilities can also be upgraded.
In certain regions, players may place numerous elemental turrets to defend their Morpher Wheel Collectors. Norphers attack randomly, resulting in tower defense sequences. Tower defense sequences play like a traditional tower defense game, although there's a twist; the player selects a Morpher squad before the battle and can use them as extra power to try and stop the Norphers. The Morpher Squad plays similarily in these sections, and they are overall similar to the Mann vs. Machine mode from Team Fortress 2 and Junkenstein's Revenge from Overwatch.

Common Sense Media[]
- Age: 16+
- Quality: ⭐⭐⭐
- Summary: Gory shooter/tower-defense hybrid is imperfect, violent.
- WHAT PARENTS NEED TO KNOW: Parents need to know that Calling All Morphers is a shooter game based on a collaboration between Adult Swim and 1001 Spears. Those are two corporate hands in one pot, both of which are valued by teenagers. The game has an immeasurable amount of violence, as Morphers fight enemies with fire, electricity, and guns. While the blood is black and suffering is kept to a minimum, enemies are still dismembered by gunfire and attacks. Episodes from the show can be viewed in-game, and occasionally involve sexual content, profanity, and partial nudity. The game also offers microtransactions, but younger players who input their actual age at the start of the game must use their parents' credit card information.
- Educational Value: Calling All Morphers wasn't created with educational intent, and we don't recommend it for learning.
- Ease of Play: ⭐⭐⭐ The gameplay mechanics are reasonably easy to understand, although this is not a game everyone can pick up and play instantly.
- Violence: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ While on missions to save other Morphers, players must kill enemies using fire, electricity, and giant boots (which crush enemies to bits), along with firearms. The violence is easily distinguishable from real-life, though, and enemies only show mild signs of pain (i.e. groaning, occasionally screaming). Black blood and dismemberment effects are present in the game.
- Sex: Sexual content and nudity are involved in some of the show's episodes, but these are age-gated.
- Language: Profanity and adult humor are involved in some of the show's episodes, but these are age-gated.
- Consumerism: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Players can buy in-game wealth for amounts ranging from $1 to $20. Players who identify themselves as children, though, cannot obtain these unless they get their parents' credit card information (which works as an age-gate). The game advertises a show on Adult Swim, which is a joint venture of the television network and 1001 Spears. Episodes from the Morphers show can be viewed in-game.
- Drinking, Drugs, & Smoking: Drug references and tobacco use are involved in some of the show's episodes, but these are age-gated.
Kids Say[]
- Age: 12+
- Quality: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Reviews by children run the gamut of 9+ to 14+ and ⭐⭐ to ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐. The general consensus is that the game is high-quality, and the violence is noted. Some reviewers claim that there should be a sequel to the game for the PlayStation 5.
Trivia[]
- Major Norpher appeared in the game before he made his debut in Another Norpher.
- Norphers have variations in this game, such as flyswatter machines, cannons, and strong muscles.
- Muscle Norpher also makes an appearance in the F. Ganesh Merph mini-game on the Morphers website (it is also included in Calling All Morphers).
- The final update made it so special attacks can make Norphers fly and hit other players, causing the screen to gain a temporary crack as if the Norpher actually hit the screen.
- Each Morpher has their own unique attacks, as well as a unique style of walking.
- There are only fifteen Morphs. They are Florence and Sebastian, Vanessa and Zak, Zoe and Sheldon, Zoe and Tess, Kristian and Vincent, Sid and Jake, Luke and Baylee, Fiona and Krish, Fiona and Chuck, Gordon and Ted, Glenn and Mervyn, Mervyn and Fritz, Winston and Glenn, Torsten and Scarlet, and Howard and Maggie.
- Zoe, Fiona, and Mervyn are the only Morphers from each generation who have two Morphs in the game.
- You can take selfies in this game, similar to Skylanders: Imaginators.
- It takes up 32 gigabytes to download, making it one of the highest storage killers on the Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
- Chuck’s golden front teeth can be knocked out by Norphers.
- The Chuck/Fiona Morph is the only Generation 2 Morph in the game that does not appear in the show.
- The game has a double crossover promotion with the LEGO sets. The instructions contain codes for the game which give Morpher Wheels and automatically unlock a character’s last attack/ability, while the game contains instructions for various Morphs and Merphs.
- The official artwork for certain Morphers have differences from their typical render.
- Kristian’s gigantic arm does not have the fist clenched.
- Vincent’s mouth is seen shut, even though he is still grinning.
- Sebastian looks enraged.
- Glender has a smiling mouth.
- Maggie is not holding her magic wands.
- Winston’s magical flatulence cloud is missing.
- The only in-game variation of Norphers are the ones with crewcuts. However, different variations are seen in both traditional and 3D-animated cutscenes.
- The game's initial release used the concept art for the Morphers.
- The mini-map has smoke of certain colors filling areas that the player has not seen, with images related to the scenery overlaid on it (such as the Everglades having lime green smoke with odor lines and rotting corpses/skeletons of animals decorating it).
- Only the Generation 1 villages have a Morpher Wheel mine, while the Generation 2 and 3 villages lack one. As such, the Generation 1 villages are the only ones to have specialized Morpher wheel defense turrets themed around their elements.
- Collectible items found in Supply Kits are still found and rewarded in Generation 2 and 3 levels.
- Each ability is unlocked at a specific level and costs a specified amount of Morphers Wheels to unlock. The first ability is unlocked at default and requires no Morpher Wheels, the second at Level 5 and requires 5 Morpher Wheels to use, and the third at Level 10 and requires 10 Morpher Wheels to use. However, the codes in the instruction manuals can automatically unlock the last ability.
- Morphers level up by killing waves of Morphers. Even Morphers who die in combat still earn XP. However, the player can also use Morpher Wheels to automatically upgrade their Morphers to the next level, although more Morpher Wheels are required the higher the level the Morpher is. The levels cap off at 60.
- Even after the game stopped receiving updates, the videos section continued getting updated as it linked to Morphers.com's video page. This function stopped working when Morphers.com was shut down.
- The cutscenes were produced around the timeframe that the series was in production, as demo material for a Norphers cutscene was allegedly produced for the third generation update.
- Strings in the game's code mention Depressed cutscenes for Vanessa, Zoe, Tess, and Vincent, despite the fact they were not included in the game.
